CoProtex™ Face Mask is created using 5 layers made up of hypoallergenic CottonX and a nanofiber membrane filter. It has been proven to withstand 50 washes while maintaining a 99.98% ability to kill viruses both going away, and from the wearer. The mask filters 98% of the particles and has a Splash Resistance of 160 mmHg. This means that it is optimally designed to block external sneeze droplets from reaching your nose and mouth.

It can be used and reused many times before cleaning because the fabric continuously kills microorganisms that come in contact with it. It is not for use against silica, asbestos, or other harmful substances. No clinical studies have been conducted comparing the ability of an untreated face mask, and these face masks to protect the wearer from infection.

Is the mask tested?

The active layers of CoProtex™ Mask are powered by EPA-registered material preservative and antimicrobial agent (registration #91367-1). CoProtex™ Mask has been tested in India and the reports are available on our website here.

What size will fit me?

The masks are available in large and medium sizes with a comfortable fit and adjustable clip for the head strap or earloop. Please see the size guide to decide.

Will the mask prevent infection by Coronavirus (COVID-19)?

The masks and the materials have been tested and have been shown to deactivate viruses. If the mask does not fit snugly, pathogens could infiltrate via the spaces between the mask and the face. Thus, we are unable to warranty against any infection.

Does the mask need to be washed?

The CoProtex™ Mask is self-cleaning. The fabrics from which the mask is made are designed to destroy microbes that they come in contact with. As such, unless the mask gets physically dirty it should not need washing.

If you feel that you must clean the mask, simply wipe it down from the inside and out with a soft, damp cloth and leave to dry. If stained, hand wash gently in warm water.
The mask should not be laundered.
